Darnell Jones
Darnell is a former professional athlete turned serial entrepreneur, inventor, investor and brand strategists. Over the last 10 years
Darnell has been involved in more than four different start up exits, totaling over $100M. He has also successfully acquired several patents & trademarks along with inventing multiple products that have sold in the world’s largest retailers and in more than 90 countries.
Darnell’s passion for sports and entrepreneurship has also led him to advising & mentoring a number of college and professional athletes along with a number of start up entrepreneurs in the areas of brand strategy, deal negotiation and business strategy.
Darnell has been featured in a number of publications from Yahoo, CNBC, Forbes Magazine and a number of others. He also currently serves on the board of directors for “The Power to Give Foundation”, “Brian Dawkins Impact Foundation” and “Neuro Discovery Center of North Texas”.
Dawud Crooms
Seasoned business leader who has led over $30B in mergers and acquisitions, $20B in debt financings and $100MM in venture investments.
Crooms brings nearly 15 years of experience across a broad range of legal areas including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracting and international corporate law. He previously served as associate general counsel for 7-Eleven Inc., the largest retailer by store count worldwide and the largest retail fuel operator in North America, where he led the execution, integration and legal support for the largest acquisition in 7-Eleven's history. He has been recognized by the Texas General Counsel Forum as the 2021 Magna Stella Award winner for Major Transactions, the Dallas Business Journal for the Minority Business Leaders Award and by the Dallas-Fort Worth Association as a finalist for the 2020 M&A Deal of the Year.
